Join Intern Rabbi Lizz Goldstein Thursday's from 7:30-9:00 pm.  As Jews we have historically faced civil and human rights violations, but in America today, Jews are not oppressed as our ancestors were.  Do we now have particular responsibility to help those who experience oppression today?  We will address this question using Biblical and other Jewish sources to better understand American Jewish history and race relations as well as explore historical texts and narratives in chronological order and build a conversation on contemporary issues.
Classes - January 7, 21, Feb. 4, 25 and March 10th at TBE. Cost $100.  Call the Temple office to make your reservation.
