Youth Group
Flatbush United Jewish Youth (FudJY) is a group for young adults from 13 to 18 (8th - 12th grade) based at the Temple. Founded in 1992, this has been a group that has captured  the attention of all of their peers within NFTY-NYC (Reform movement Youth Organization). Within FUdJY, youth members learn the skills of program writing, group leadership and organization. Some typical activities include: trips to soup kitchens, discussions and programs that compare our secular values with our religious values, in modern and biblical times; regional events that range from sleep overs in temples all over New York City known as "shul-ins", to regional weekends of learning at a UAHC camp.  All activities are supervised by adults. FudJY members have been accepted to many of the country's top colleges and universities. FUdJY publishes its own Whale's Tales magazine monthly.
