Friday evening services at 8:30 PM are followed by an Oneg and Kiddush (an opportunity to greet fellow worshippers). Saturday morning inter-generational services at 11:15 AM are part of our regular weekend religious school. Students participate in the service and discuss the Torah portion with Rabbi, teachers, and the congregation. Singing is encouraged and enjoyed by all.
Intergenerational Saturday Program
Our unique Saturday Program for Religious School students focuses on holidays, history, culture and Torah. Activities include crafts, music, drama, history, and holiday celebrations followed by Saturday services that strengthen and reinforce classroom lessons.
Adult learners participate in Torah study led by Rabbi Heidi, while students attend morning classes from 10am to 11:15 am. The adults and students join together for the Shabbat service in the sanctuary at 11:15am.
Several Saturdays a year, we welcome guest speakers as part of our Sisterhood Brunch program. Special holiday events also take place on Saturday mornings.
